The city seal of Pasig consists of a shield, the upper portion the Mutya ng Pasig, a personification of the city and its ideals, behind her two waves of water, a reference to the name Pasig, which dervies from the Sanskrit word meaning "a body of water connecting two bodies of water". On the lower-left of the shield is the Pasig Cathedral in a blue background, while on the lower-right is a factory representing prosperity and progress.
