Benigno Simeon Cojuanco Aquino III, nicknamed Noynoy or PNoy, was the 15th President of the Philippines from 2010-2016. He was also chairman of the Liberal Party while serving as president. He is the son of the late Senator Ninoy Aquino who was assassinated in 1983 as opposition leader against the Marcos regime.
